The company’s philosophy is built on three main points:

Customer orientation, with a focus on innovation

Tecnimed aims to create innovative and smart products based on the Customers’ needs, focusing particularly on healthcare products.
Our search for innovation always starts from the Customers: we treasure their exigencies, expectations and desires, and we seek to satisfy them in terms of quality, reliability and safety, performance, offer and design.
For this reason, through our R&D laboratory the company is constantly addressed towards the realization of truly new products which meet the needs of an increasingly qualified market.
Thus, today Tecnimed production is characterized by excellent quality levels, a strong tendency towards innovation and a commercial strategy that finds its winning point in a continuous response to the customer’s specific requirements.

The “made in Italy” philosophy

For an ethical, environmental and quality choice, Tecnimed manufactures its main products strictly in Italy and mainly within its own factory: this allows, in fact, to have full control over product quality, safety aspects (health and safety of workers and the working environment), ethical aspects (respect for workers’ rights, protection of child labour, etc.) and environmental aspects (e.g. the installation of a photovoltaic system demonstrates a constant commitment to environmental sustainability).

Furthermore, every two years Tecnimed receives ethical/social inspections which verify compliance with safety, health and sustainability requirements, achieving an average score of 95% (years 2016-2022).
In recent years, production systems have been automated as far as possible and are managed by highly qualified teams.

The automation, also by means of robots, of the main production phases (assembly, calibration and testing of infrared thermometers) allows to increase productivity and achieve an excellent level of quality (thanks also to high-definition cameras which allow for more accurate controls than those obtainable with the human eye), affecting only 10% of production costs and stimulating the professional growth of the teams employed.
Approximately 90% of the final product cost is accounted for by the cost of the electronic components and raw materials used, which are carefully selected, comply with the strictest international standards, and are highly performing.

The quality system

The company has a Quality System which complies with EN ISO 9001:2015 and EN ISO 13485:2016 and GMP requirements.
The Quality System, the constant and strict control of all production stages and the 100% multiple testing of all devices guarantee the high quality of the products.

The medical devices manufactured by Tecnimed are all certified according to Regulation (EU) 2017/745 (MDR) and most of them are also authorised for marketing outside Europe, e.g. in the USA by FDA and in several other countries (Japan, Korea, China, Australia and others) by the relevant local bodies.
