DESCRIPTION

Alertino is an anti-abandonment car seat device that warns that the child is in the car seat BEFORE the driver gets out of the car.

ALERTINO was designed according to the requirements defined by Italian Ministerial Decree No. 122 of 2 October 2019 and meets all the mandatory requirements, in fact:

  • it is an anti-abandonment car seat device to prevent the abandonment of children under the age of 4;
  • it activates PROMPTLY visual and acoustic alarms when the driver, unhooking the belt, is about to leave the car;
  • it AUTOMATICALLY starts at each use, without further actions;
  • a signal confirms the activation;
  • alarms are given in case of lack of power, and if abnormalities occur during the trip;
  • it does not alter the characteristics of the vehicle or restraint system.

ALERTINO is proud to be Italian

It is designed and manufactured in Italy by Tecnimed and Real Baby Distribuzione.

HOW IT WORKS

ALERTINO is activated when the child is placed on the car seat and driver fastens the seat belt.

When the belt is released, the system, detecting the presence of the child, activates audible and visual alarms. The alarm stops when the child is removed from the car seat.

ALERTINO has two other important functions:
• Alarm while driving: warns with audible and visual alarm (blue light) if the child is not well positioned
• Temporary deactivation of the alarm (up to a maximum of 10 minutes) in the event of a short stop.

HOW TO INSTALL

Alertino is made of:
pastedGraphic.png
1) ALERTINO Pad: shall be placed under the cover of the car seat

pastedGraphic_1.png
2) ALERTINO Belt-Block:shall be inserted on the driver’s belt lock mechanism and connected to the car’s power supply via USB or cigarette lighter socket adapter (not supplied).

Finally, the ALERTINO Belt-Block (seatbelt sensor) and the ALERTINO Pad (seat sensor) should be connected to each other via the supplied cables, which should then be conveniently concealed under the car mats.

Alertino is compatible with all cars, including those with a permanently powered cigarette lighter socket or USB socket.

HOW TO USE

1. Place the child in the seat: ALERTINO Belt-Block gives an acoustic signal confirming the detection of the child’s presence and lights up in violet, waiting for the driver fasted its seatbelt (if the seatbelt is not fastened within 3 minutes, the system gives an alarm).

2. Fast the driver’s belt: ALERTINO Belt-Block illuminates green, confirming
that the system is correctly activated.

3. At the end of the journey, when the seatbelt is released, the system activates with an audible and visual alarm (red light). Remove the child from the seat to interrupt the alarm.
If necessary (e.g. in case of a short stop), the alarm can be temporarily suspended.

MORE CHILDREN?
TWINS OR BROTHERS and SISTERS? NO PROBLEM! ALERTINO Additional pad

The ADDITIONAL PAD is specially designed to be connected to an ALERTINO anti-abandonment car seat device.
It allows you to secure your second child using the same anti-abandonment car seat device.

To install the ADDITIONAL PAD, simply connect it to the main device by means of the supplied splitter cable.
The installation of the ADDITIONAL PAD keeps all functions of the ALERTINO active, such as the alarm while driving and the temporary deactivation of the alarm.

You can connect to each ALERTINO anti-abandonment car seat device up to 3 additional PADs, and thus secure up to 4 children within the same car with one main ALERTINO.

SAFETY INFORMATION

The device remembers that the child is in the car as soon as the driver’s seat belt is released, but under no circumstances does it relieve parents from their responsibilities.

Manufacturer and distributor are not responsible for any cases of child abandonment.
