Non-contact thermometer that projects the temperature on the forehead.
With VisioFocus you measure your child’s temperature at first sight. The thermometer takes your child’s temperature without contact and projects the temperature value on his/her forehead: it simply reveals the body temperature, without ever coming in contact with the skin.

DESCRIPTION

The VisioFocus non-contact thermometer is hygienic and easy to use.

VisioFocus is the non-contact thermometer that:

  • projects the temperature value;
  • is equipped with a projection aiming system that also indicates the correct reading distance;
  • is silent, does not touch the skin and does not disturb your child’s sleep;
  • it stabilizes itself quickly via the Automatic Quick Calibration Systems (AQCS) or Manual Quick Calibration System (MQCS) and, through the ‘face’ button, automatically applies a correction factor for body temperature according to environmental conditions;
  • thanks to the ‘home’ button, it can also measure the temperature of objects, food, liquids (1-80°C), skin and the environment;
  • has a backlighted display in 5 colours;
  • can recall the last 9 measurements taken (‘memory’ function).

To take a reading, just bring the thermometer close to the forehead, at the distance that the thermometer itself will tell you, so that the reading temperature will appear on the forehead. The projection aiming system indicates the correct reading distance, that is essential to obtain accurate measurements.

VisioFocus is an amazing thermometer meant to allow moms and dads to take the temperature of their baby with comfort, safety, hygiene, but also rapidity and precision, without waking him up when he is sleeping.

The thermometers in the VisioFocus series – born from the evolution of Thermofocus, the world’s first non-contact thermometer, and protected by a series of international patents – are the only thermometers in the world that project the temperature value.

QUICK INSTRUCTIONS

 Taking the body temperature

  1. At the first use, insert 4 AAA batteries.
  2. Open the protective cap by rotating it 90°
  3. Approach VisioFocus to the forehead.
  4. Press the “face” button and hold it down. The two aiming lights turn on and you will begin to see the temperature reading, projected onto the forehead between two arches.
  5. While keeping the VisioFocus perpendicular to the center of the forehead, move it in or back away from the forehead until the temperature reading is set squarely between the two arches. If the thermometer is too far away, or too close, the temperature will not fall between the two arches (fig. 1 and 2).

(1) too far

(2) too close

(3) correct distance ✅

6. When you see the temperature at the midpoint between the two arches (fig. 3), the thermometer is at the right distance: release the button and keep the device steady while the lights flash. You can also read the temperature on the display, lit in light blue. If necessary, you can immediately take another reading.

7. Close the protective cap.

Other readings (non-medical use)

VisioFocus can also be used to read the temperature of objects, food and liquids in the 1,0-80,0°C (33.8-176.0°F) temperature range.

For example, you can take the temperature of:

  1. a baby’s feed bottle,
  2. food,
  3. bathwater.

Proceed as you would for a forehead reading but press the “home” button.

NOTE: this intended use is not subject to assessment by the Notified Body.

Readings of skin surface temperature

VisioFocus can also scan the skin surface temperature: this can be useful to monitor the temperature of inflammations, ulcers, wounds (for example on diabetic patients and under control of your physician).

Proceed as you would for a forehead reading but press the “home” button.

NOTE: skin surface temperature is NOT body temperature. To measure body temperature, proceed as described in par. 4.1.

Read the warnings and instructions for use carefully.
